The ATTO iPBridge™ 1550E is a cost effective, high performance iSCSI-to-SCSI bridge that enables Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and departmental workgroups to migrate servers from a Direct Attached Storage (DAS) to a Storage Area Network (SAN) environment, enabling highly effective consolidation and utilization of storage assets with existing staff. ATTO’s exclusive intelligent Bridging Architecture™ makes it the ideal solution for connecting SCSI disk and tape devices to an IP Storage Area Network (SAN) without compromising performance or manageability.
Performance of the bridge is optimized through utilization of ATTO intelligent Bridging Architecture™, while SpeedWrite™ efficiently queues outstanding write commands to enhance the throughput of the bridge. An additional feature of the 1550E, ATTO ExpressNAV™ management software is an easy-to-use browser based GUI that provides remote configuration, management and diagnostic capabilities.
